Cheese Party!

If you are having a party, you better have some cheese! Sure, you can go to the store and get a bunch of cheese, but then you have to figure out what's at its peak, what's in season, and how to serve it. If you pass that gauntlet, then you get to tell your friends all about the cheese, because if you pick out anything good, they'll want to know about it.

Daunting, isn't it?

Not if you are a Cheese Snob.

Next time you are thinking of throwing a party - or if you need a good reason to throw one - make sure you get the Cheese Snob. After all, serving cheese and talking about it is how we got our start!  

Our cheese parties are available for any size gathering, for any budget. A wine expert is available, too.  

You can consult with the Cheese Snob to choose your selections, or leave it all to us and think about more important things, such as your guest list.

Cheese Parties are available in two formats:

1. A Guided Tasting

This is most appropriate for parties with 5-20 attendees, give or take a few. It's also helpful to have some sort of classroom-style seating, or at least a table for the guests to sit at, and another one for the Cheese Snob to sit or stand behind.

The Cheese Snob will arrive with a selection of wonderful cheeses, and accompaniments, if you'd like. Each guest will receive a plate with a sample of each cheese, in proper order.The Cheese Snob will discuss each cheese, in order, and instruct guests on the proper way to "taste" cheese, in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. Each guest will receive a booklet to take home, with notes on the cheeses and general cheese information.

After the Cheese Snob is finished with the presentation, the cheeses are placed on attractive platters for guests to enjoy for the duration of the party.

2. Fromagiere Service

This is most appropriate for parties of 20 or more. A catered affair. A cocktail party.

The Cheese Snob will arrive with a wide selection of wonderful cheeses, displayed in an attractive manner on a linen-covered table, with bread and other appropriate accompaniments. The Cheese Snob will stand behind the table, serving and answering guests' questions about the cheeses. It's not just cheese catering - it's complete Fromagiere Service.

This is a very sophisticated addition to an event. Your guests will be impressed!
